1. 교과목표
여성으로서의 정체성(self-identity)을 가지고 자신의 존재 가치와 역할을 인식하고 수행하기 위해 자신의 몸에 대한 생물학적 지식과 심리 사회 문화적 특성, 남성과의 차이, 여성만이 갖는 경험의 의미를 이해한다. 구체적으로는 여성의 몸을 구성하는 생물학적 구조와 기능, 생식기 질병과 관리방법, 사회, 문화, 정치, 경제적 영향으로 발생하는 여성의 건강문제를 해결하고 예방 할 수 있는 능력을 기른다, 여성이 스스로 건강유지, 증진 및 삶의 질 향상을 위해 자신의 몸과 건강을 조정(self control)할 수 있는 힘(empowerment)을 갖도록 한다.
