Description of the Course:

We will focus on six British and American female writers--Charlotte Brontë, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Virginia Woolf, Emily Dickinson, Susan Glaspell, and Doris Lessing. Emphasis in the course will be given to close textual readings of their works.
